Why you should pay for exposure.

When our business and economics class was assigned to research companies in town, I choose the modern HVAC repair shop that had recently opened up… I interviewed the owner, some of the professionals, and even some of their customers.

I wanted to understand what they did and what their plan was for success; They had only been open for six months and I was surprised by how several buyers they already had.

The owner said that he attributed the quick growth to the fact that they had invested heavily in the website that they had. They had paid for conventional advertisement too on boombox, TV, and print, but, the website had easily driven their buyer base; He said that in this day and age, people don’t easily pay attention to those other forms of advertisement as much as they do the online ads that pop up in their newsfeed, but many of their buyers had really changed to their services because of those ads. They had been using other HVAC companies for years but when they saw the specials online, they decided to give it a try, and older companies may not realize the importance of online advertising and this makes them seem outdated and out of touch. I learned more doing that research paper than I have on any other assignment. I also learned that, no matter what supplier I labor for in the future, I will always remember to invest wisely in advertising. Using the right type of advertising is important to ensure the success of a business no matter what type of supplier it is.
