I’m not one of those people who’s extremely materialistic.
I don’t really dream about a big home, fancy cars, or living a life of complete luxury.
I’m not impressed with brand-new appliances and gadgets, and I don’t plan on am I spending around the release of the newest iPhone. I don’t understand how people sell themselves short and wind up in jobs or marriages that are based on financial need. Personally, I would rather live with less and have a more exciting life struggling to get by. That’s why I have a hard time getting excited when my friends and family try to show me their fancy new belongings. Recently, my cousin was trying to show off his brand new Dodge Charger. Let me tell you, I don’t know anything about cars and I don’t care. When we were riding around in his brand new whip, I was mostly interested in fiddling with the on-board heating and cooling system. I didn’t realize that cars had such an advanced indoor air temperature control devices these days. This is definitely not the same heating and cooling system that I grew up with. In my family’s Vehicles, you had hot air or cold air. There was really nothing in between hot and cold, and controls for the speed of air flow were rudimentary. These days, everything is different. You can set an exact temperature and the car will automatically adjust to create the perfect indoor environment. It turns out, you can even put zone control Heating and Cooling in modern vehicles. The entire time my cousin drove around and talked about his fancy car, I was enamored with the warm air on my toes.
