AC in My First Car

I was that familiar teenager whose first car wasn’t the nicest.

My parents provided to match whatever money had saved up towards a car once I got my license! Unluckyly, my dad was in a pretty drastic car accident, and my parents had quite a few unexpected medical bills.

My dad still wanted to match my money, although I just didn’t want my parents to supply me money for a car that they could be using to pay my dad’s medical bills. I didn’t have much money of my own saved up because I didn’t get a consistent task until after I purchased my car. When I first purchased the car, the air conditioner worked, but within about four weeks, the A/C went out. It was unquestionably discouraging to drive a car without air conditioner because the summers and even Falls where I live are actually hot and muggy. I can remember just driving down the road and within minutes, my makeup was melting off my face. I would sometimes just pull over and cry because of how hot and uncomfortable I was in my car. Thankfully, I started dating my now fiance, and he loved to work on cars. He had my A/C working again within a day, and I was unquestionably astonished. Having air conditioner made my life so much easier. I was easily able to appreciate driving my car, and I think, that is the time when I actually got affixed to it. Many years later, I look back at that time with both fine and terrible memories, although I find myself laughing at how much of a pain not having air conditioner was to me. Although to this day, I still miss my first car.
