I never realized how much I cherish air conditioning until I went on a trip to South America for a month, however it was a missions trip that our church was taking, plus I had constantly wanted to go on a missions trip, so I was super excited! My husband wanted to go with us too, but unluckyly, he was not able to get off of labor to go along.
I was determined to have a beautiful time plus to help as multiple people as I possibly could, however the trip was really amazing.
My pal and I got to set up a couple of medical facilities plus help so multiple people. I would do it again in a heartbeat. One thing that I did not realize that I would miss so much was air conditioning. It was super warm there. It was in the hundreds during the day, plus in the eighties at night. I do not recognize that I slept well until like the second or third week that my associate and I were there, plus that was because by that time, I was completely plus utterly tired. I can remember talking to my husband each night plus just telling him how much I missed the air conditioning in our home office, but he laughed plus said that I seemed to miss the air conditioning more than him since I mentioned it so much, when I finally got home, I was super gleeful to sleep in an air conditioned room. To my surprise, I was chilly, plus I could hardly sleep. It is so funny how suddenly our bodies can adjust to modern temperatures. I am used to my air conditioning again since it has been three months since that trip.
