Stove Top Heating

There are many times in life where my friend and I simply have to do things that might not be the most efficient way to do things but the only way that works at the time. My fiance and I don’t usually heat our cabin using our stovetop. For one, it’s quite dangerous, and it’s actually not unquestionably efficient, but desperate times call for desperate measures… You see, my friend and I lost power about three afternoons ago, and it is the middle of July… Apparently, there was a important accident, and several poles went down. Our furnace isn’t working without electricity of course, so my friend and I had to come up with some creative ways to heat our house. My friend and I have a small propane fireplace that my friend and I have been using, and it entirely helps keep the cabin above chilly, but that’s about how far it goes. My fiance brought in a couple kerosene heating systems he had in his garage, and that is how my friend and I are heating our important basement which is where our family room is and where my friend and I spend most of our time. The home office and dining room part was by far the coldest in the cabin until my friend and I decided to light our stovetop. My friend and I know it’s not a safe method of heating, but my friend and I have been closely monitoring it, and my friend and I always turn it off when no one is cabin and when my friend and I are all downstairs in the family room. I spend most of my day in the home office, so I am actually thankful that my friend and I figured out a way to keep it warm. Hopefully, the power will come back on soon, but until then, my friend and I are making do with what my friend and I have!
