This week I’m going to the hardware store so that I can buy a new thermostat for my house.
I have been putting off going shopping for weeks now because I just hate going out to the mall where there are so many people around. I just don’t like being around people for the most part. I am basically an introvert. Everybody who knows me knows that it’s true. I know that I’m going to have to go and buy a new thermostat, though, because the weather is really heating up now and I’m going to have to be able to control the air conditioning. For the last couple of weeks, it hasn’t really been that big of an issue for me. I haven’t been using the air conditioning system or the heating system either because we really just haven’t needed it. We haven’t had to turn it on for a while because the weather has been really mild around here for the most part. However, the weather usually starts heating up here around the end of May and then it gets hot and stays hot for months! I am not ready to live without air conditioning, that’s for sure. I know that I’m going to have to spend quite a bit of money on a new thermostat, but I’m basically ready to do that. I think that I want to get a new digital smart thermostat unit or a wifi thermostat. I’m not sure which one I want yet, but I’m going to have to decide pretty soon before I go shopping!
