I laughed at my child when he told me he bought a shipping container, but he was a truck driver & told me he got it for a legitimately good price, i wanted to know what he was going to do with the shipping bag & almost laughed when he said he was building a shipping bag home.
I thought he was kidding, however from the look on his face, I knew he wasn’t.
He said he & his husband had been talking about downsizing. If they got a shipping container, they could turn it into a small home. It was going to take many weeks to turn make the rusty seasoned shipping bag into a shipping bag home, however they were excited. I didn’t think the condo was going to be much greater than a small condo trailer, however I was wrong. When the shipping bag condo was complete, he picked me up to take me condo with him. He told me I was going to be shocked when I saw their shipping bag home, but you couldn’t believe it for anything however a small home. It amazed me at how much room they had inside, & how nearly everything had a dual purpose. I told him I could live in a condo like this one. He said they put wheels on the shipping bag condo so they could transfer it anywhere they wanted it. With the wheels, he could even pull it behind his truck & come visit, and all he had to do was figure out to get his big rig up our driveway to park the shipping bag home.
