If you labor anywhere with unlucky Heating & Cooling appliances or coworkers with vastly weird temperature preferences, your entire life can suffer inside & out of work, but for many years, I worked in an office where they set the temperature control incredibly low; At least, I guess that it’s a unquestionably low.
The more time goes on, the more scientific articles come out about how negative modern office labor is for human beings. Everyone knows that office workers suffer from poor posture, carpal tunnel, & several back problems… You’re also forced to live a sedentary lifestyle which brings about diabetes, weight gain, & heart failure, then there are plenty of things to be worried about as someone who stares at a laptop all afternoon, then however, no one ever really talks about the problems faced by modern office workers when it comes to indoor temperature settings! In fact, I have never seen a scientific paper that mentions temperature control control as a form of mental & physical abuse within an office setting. I can tell you, temperature controls have the power to completely ruin your life. I shiver in my seat every afternoon & repeatedly lose feeling in my fingers. I constantly wear many layers to work, including several heavy overcoats, and still, I’m constantly too cold to even guess straight, when I leave labor after 8 cold hours, I can never get warm. The overwhelming cold lowers my immune system too, so I’m often sick when I leave the office. As much as I appreciate being a low-level secretary, I’m starting to guess that this task isn’tworth all of the cold heartache.
