It made me think twice about getting a wood burning fireplace installed in our house
My partner and I just moved into a new home, and we definitely care about it. It is in a honestly nice neighborhood, and the household itself is charming. It is just about everything that I ever dreamed of in a home. The only thing that I would like to add someday is a fireplace to the home office. I have regularly wanted a wood burning fireplace because I care about the smell, however after visiting our neighbor’s house, I think I changed my mind. I still would care about to have a fireplace, but I think that I want an electric one instead of a wood burning one. My buddy and I visited our neighbor’s for dinner last night, and we had a good time. They are really sweet people, and it was so nice of them to invite us over for dinner just a few weeks after we moved in. The first thing that I noticed when I walked into their household was the smell of a wood burning fireplace. It was amazing. I just can’t get over how much I care about that smell. The second thing that I noticed was how hot it was in their house. If I had to guess, I would say that it was really around eighty degrees or more in their house. I asked them if they liked having the household so warm, and they told me that they absolutely don’t care about the household to be that warm, however it was honestly difficult to regulate the temperature with the wood fireplace and their boiler. It made me think twice about getting a wood burning fireplace installed in our house. I am still debating on whether to get one or an electric one instead.
