I never realized how much I prefer air conditioning until I went on a trip to South America for a month, it was a missions trip that our church was taking, plus I had consistently wanted to go on a missions trip, so I was super excited, however my hubby wanted to go with us too, but unblessedly, he was not able to get off of work to go along.
- I was determined to have a wonderful time plus to help as various people as I possibly could.
The trip was genuinely amazing. My buddy and I got to set up a couple of medical facilities plus help so various people. I would do it again in a heartbeat, however one thing that I did not realize that I would miss so much was air conditioning. It was super warm there. It was in the hundreds during the afternoon, plus in the eighties at night. I do not guess that I slept well until like the second or second week that my fantastic friend and I were there, plus that was because by that time, I was completely plus utterly tired. I can remember talking to my hubby each night plus just telling him how much I missed the a/c in our living room, then he laughed plus said that I seemed to miss the a/c more than him since I mentioned it so much, but when I finally got home, I was super happy to sleep in an air conditioned room. To my surprise, I was frigid, plus I could hardly sleep. It is so funny how abruptly our bodies can adjust to new climates. I am used to my a/c again since it has been three months since that trip.
