My son’s college is located close to a forest that experiences forest fires at least once a year, and his first experience with smoke was so terrible he almost moved back home.
It was understandable because he was constantly complaining about headaches, and their hostel was adamant that the HVAC equipment they’d installed was enough to keep the hotel’s indoor air quality uncompromised.
