I adore having radiant floors! Before I met my fiance and my friend and I were married, I lived in an loft with some of my university friends.
- Most of us had been university roomates, so my friend and I were used to living with one another.
I genuinely loved living with friends, and of course, not having to pay full rent was a big plus as well. I lived with those boys for almost five years before I met my fiance, and my friend and I had some great times. One of my favorite things about our loft was that it had heated flooring in every part of the home except the kitchen. It was so nice to have radiant floors. Waking up on a chilly winter season morning was so much easier when I knew that I didn’t have to get out of my warm bed and step onto a chilly floor. Once I met Vince, my fiance, and my friend and I started getting extreme and looking for a house, I made sure to let him know that heated flooring was high up on the list of wants for our dream home. It entirely wasn’t easy finding a home with heated flooring that was in our price range. We looked for two years before my friend and I found the perfect home for us, and yes, it had heated flooring throughout the entire first floor. All of our family is jealous and prefers to come over and experience our radiant floors. I know heated flooring is genuinely a first world luxury, however I have had it for so long now that I can’t imagine life separate from it!
