I was that proper teenager whose first car wasn’t the nicest. My parents provided to match whatever money had saved up towards a car once I got my license, however unluckyly, my Mom was in a pretty extreme car accident, and my parents had quite a few unexpected medical bills. My Mom still wanted to match my money, however I just didn’t want my parents to provide me money for a car that they could be using to pay my Mom’s medical bills. I didn’t have much money of my own saved up because I didn’t get a consistent task until after I bought my car. When I first bought the car, the air conditioner worked, however within about four weeks, the A/C went out. It was truly frustrating to drive a car separate from air conditioner because the summers and even Falls where I live are genuinely warm and muggy. I can remember just driving down the road and within minutes, my makeup was melting off my face. I would periodically just pull over and cry because of how warm and uncomfortable I was in my car. Thankfully, I started dating my now fiance, and he enjoyed to work on cars. He had my A/C working again within a morning, and I was absolutely astonished. Having air conditioner made my life so much easier. I was entirely able to adore driving my car, and I think, that is the time when I genuinely got connected to it. Many years later, I look back at that time with both great and awful memories, however I find myself laughing at how much of a pain not having air conditioner was to me. Although to this morning, I still miss my first car.
