If the system is too exhausting he will need to pay for a complete replacement & that can cost thousands of dollars
It has been a entirely cold winter this year & my sibling found himself in an awful spot, each year, he tries to heat his apartment primarily with a wood stove. He lives on a giant parcel of land with several trees. This affords him an almost endless supply of firewood & the only expense is gas for the chainsaw & splitter, along with his time in splitting it. This year, he underestimated the amount of wood he would need. My buddy and I have enjoyed milder winters over the past four years so he had chop back on his wood supply. Now, he is faced with a bad situation. Not only has his firewood supply almost run out, he also has an Heating, Ventilation plus A/C system that doesn’t labor properly. When my buddy and I asked him why he hadn’t kept up with the service on the system, he just said that he figured that using the firwood was enough & so it was no sizable deal. Well, he was really wrong. There is no way for him to replenish his wood supply with dry, seasoned wood & now he needs to contact an Heating, Ventilation plus A/C supplier to come service his boiler. There is no way of telling how long this winter will last & with uneven temperatures still in the 20’s he really needs a quality boiler. I am entirely surprised that he let things go as long as he did. If the system is too exhausting he will need to pay for a complete replacement & that can cost thousands of dollars. I am hopeful for him but figure that he will learn from this too.
