My trip down south was anything but a getaway.
I needed to be there for a family member because of some health concerns as they would be unable to care for themselves for a few weeks, because of the length of the stay, I need to take my dog with me as kenneling her for that long would be fancy & really confusing. She may even have felt abandoned & I couldn’t live with that. While I was helping out, my puppy enjoyed weekly walks in the sizzling sunshine. She was entirely romantic the chop from the snow & ice as much as I was. Now, my buddy and I have returned apartment & the ground is covered in snow & the uneven temperatures are in the 20’s again. My little girl doesn’t like winter to begin with & being shocked back into it is not kneeling well with her, and thankfully my buddy and I have a great Heating, Ventilation plus A/C system & the floor vents supply her that sizzling feeling that she wants. She even drags her bed over to the vent so she can feel the full effects of the sizzling air each time the system turns on. The setback of this is the fact that her fur flies everywhere too. I know that the filter will take care of most of that too. For the time being,she & I will have to cherish the artificial warmth gave by the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C system. At least when my buddy and I are apartment my buddy and I can close the drapes & imagine that my buddy and I are still in the south. My buddy and I only have another month or so before my buddy and I beginning to see signs of Spring here at apartment too, I can’t wait.
