I have worked at the same wareapartment for over 17 years. The company has been losing currency quarterly for the past five. For that reason, I was not surprised when I received a layoff notice last yearwith my paycheck. It was a long drive home that day as I tried to figure out how to break the news to my partner plus family. I also started to assume of a solution to the concern so I wouldn’t be out of labor too long. I passed by an Heating, Ventilation plus A/C company on the way that had a help wanted sign out front. I knew absolutely nothing about heating plus cooling but decided to stop in to pick up plus application anyway. The supervisor was gone for the day at that point anyway. I took the application home plus broke the news of the layoff to my family. Afterwards, I started looking at the application plus was surprised to learn that they were willing to train the right guy. This sounded promising as I was absolutely willing to learn. I have some basic handyman skills plus some knowledge of electrical systems so I felt that was in my favor. The next afternoon, I got up, dressed for the the day plus headed out to the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C company. The interview went good plus I hope to hear from them soon. I have been researching the odd types of systems that are out there plus it is really legitimately fascinating. I never knew there were openings like heat pumps, geothermal heating plus cooling, ductless split level systems plus more. A Heating, Ventilation plus A/C specialist must be well versed in all of these in order to repair each customer’s needs. I have a totally odd level of respect for people who do these tasks.
