During the winter, when I take afternoon showers, it can get pretty darn cold! It definitely ruins my whole afternoon when I wake up in the middle of the day feeling cold and uncomfortable.
It also makes it hard to get to work. But I came up with a fun solution to this problem that didn’t involve spending money on things like radiant heated floors. I figured out that I should just go out and spend $69 on one of these brand-new, portable space heaters for the bathroom. The portable heater I bought was exactly what I needed. Since I started using this portable space heater in the bathroom on those cold winter afternoons, I don’t feel as cold and can take a nice, comfortable shower. I don’t know why I didn’t think of this before because I used to have a portable space heater in the bathroom when I was a kid. It wasn’t as portable or powerful as portable space heaters are now, but it did the job because the bathroom in the house where I grew up was really small. So now that I have an afternoon portable space heater, this is even better. All I have to do is turn on the portable space heater a few minutes before I get in the shower, and the bathroom will be as hot as ever and stay that way. Not only does the portable space heater keep me cozy during those winter showers, but it also adds a touch of nostalgia, reminding me of the warmth and comfort of my childhood bathroom.
