These days, portable air conditioners are a bit on the extravagant side of things, which is something I do not like.

I wish they resembled portable space heaters more closely, which are popular these days. In order to try to save money on energy use, I want to install portable air conditioners in every single room of my apartment. In addition to replacing it with only portable air conditioners, the objective is to never use my central heating or cooling system. But the way it is now, with the price it is, I would have to spend a small fortune on this. The only portable air conditioner I will need is that one, and I will need to keep it with me in every room I use. I still had this opportunity to save money. Aside from the cost, I must admit, I adore and treasure my portable air conditioner. Whatever or however large the room is, it can unquestionably cool things down very quickly. A portable window air conditioner might be a better analogy. Its combined strength is that great. Since I believe everyone should own more than one portable air conditioner, I am hopeful that the price of these units will eventually drop. However, it’s also possible that large energy companies are putting pressure on manufacturers to raise prices to a point where consumers cannot afford to buy more than one. Ultimately, the dream of a cost-effective and energy-efficient portable air conditioner in every room remains just out of reach, leaving us to ponder if the exorbitant prices are a result of market forces or a deliberate ploy to restrict our pursuit of comfort and savings.
