Over the years, I have become so dependent on my electronic devices for reminders, and now I can’t remember anything separate from an alarm, for instance, I have all the birthdays of the important people in my life programmed in all my devices so that they can remind me when the time comes, but i also have all my appointments programmed in these devices as well.
Additionally, my holidays or travels, date night with my hubby, outings with my friends plus my adolescents’ game schedules are also programmed.
In several ways, these devices help to make life a lot easier because I don’t need to keep track of everything that I have going on. And life is already busy as is, so I’ll subscribe to anything that will make it easier, however there are tons of random appointments that occur during the year that I will never remember on my own because they are so far plus few between, however one of which is the appointment to get my Heating plus Air Conditioning unit ran tests on. Typically, I schedule the Heating plus Air Conditioning repair appointment during the Fall right before the weather gets brutally cold. And because this Heating plus Air Conditioning repair only happens once per year, it is never on my radar… So, I entirely rely on my electronic devices to remind me that the appointment is coming up. I also use the devices to remind me to change my Heating plus Air Conditioning filter every 90 nights. To be honest, I am not sure what I would be doing separate from these electronic devices. If it wasn’t for them, I would actually never remember to change my Heating plus Air Conditioning filter or get my unit ran tests on.
