I had the largest frighten of my Life

I was concerned because she wasn’t doing well the last time I went to see my dad.

Fortunately, Dad is not the kind of mother who burdens her kids with her problems.

Leaving her depressed and ill-at-ease did not sit well with me. We decided to visit Dad again this coming weekend after speaking with my wife. To spare her the stress this time, we would not let her know. This was the only way we could learn the truth, so thank God we came uninvited. For several months, my mother had been experiencing health issues. She only put on a brave face when we visited her because she was so weak and frail. She couldn’t even turn on the heater this particular afternoon because she was too weak. Mom’s house was getting colder as winter slowly got closer. Due to her love of farming, she resided in a hilly rural area. Her refusal to accompany us to the city despite our best efforts to persuade her to do so. Dad was weak and almost colorless as he dozed off on her bed. She was admitted for treatment after we hurried to the hospital on short notice. To find out why it was so cold, I later returned to her house. Inquiring as to the most recent maintenance performed on the HVAC system, I got in touch with Mr. Wilson, mom’s HVAC service technician. To my surprise, the HVAC system had gone unattended for more than a year. My concern increased because this was so dissimilar from my Dad. Dad was having memory problems, we discovered later. Because she needed our help and wouldn’t allow us to take her to the city, we were prepared to transport her back to be with her. To update and perform general HVAC maintenance so that the house would be comfortable, we called the Heating and Air Conditioning corporation.
