Over the years, I have become so dependent on my electronic devices for reminders.
And now I can’t remember anything without an alarm.
For instance, I have all the birthdays of the important people in my life programmed in all my devices so that they can remind me when the time comes. I also have all my appointments programmed in these devices as well. Additionally, my vacations or travels, date night with my hubby, outings with my friends as well as my kids’ game schedules are also programmed. In many ways, these devices help to make life a lot easier because I don’t need to keep track of everything that I have going on. And life is already busy as is, so I’ll subscribe to anything that will make it easier. There are tons of random appointments that occur during the year that I will never remember on my own because they are so far and few between. One of which is the appointment to get my HVAC unit serviced. Typically, I schedule the HVAC service appointment during the Fall right before the weather gets brutally cold. And because this HVAC service only happens once per year, it is never on my radar. So, I definitely rely on my electronic devices to remind me that the appointment is coming up. I also use the devices to remind me to change my HVAC filter every 90 days. To be honest, I am not sure what I would be doing without these electronic devices. If it wasn’t for them, I would probably never remember to change my HVAC filter or get my unit serviced.
