It’s tough to admit but I tend to be a love or hate it sort of guy.
I’m sure there are things in my life that are perfectly adequate that I just probably take for granted.
But with all the other stuff in my life, it’s pretty much thumbs up or thumbs down. When it comes to the central air conditioning in my house, it’s a for sure thumbs up. I love our heating and cooling equipment. This was something that we actually had to replace when we bought the house. For some reason, the previous owner wasn’t willing to deal with replacing the HVAC equipment. So we were all too happy to take a huge discount on the final price of the house to do it ourselves. With the savings we got for taking on this task, we were able to get the best residential HVAC out there. And of course, it came with all the latest in HVAC technology as well. It really is quite something. But that wasn’t the end of us adding heating and cooling equipment. This house has a very nice, finished basement. The only thing it needed to be the perfect guest space was some heating and cooling. There is a bathroom with a shower, a fridge, a microwave and all kinds of privacy for our family and friends who visit. It’s like there own guest quarters. We had the HVAC company install a ductless heat pump down there and it’s incredible. Not only do I love this thing, I can’t stop raving to anyone who will listen just how amazing our ductless heat pump really is.
