I cannot feel that it’s come to this. I thought that I was in a affectionate, trusting relationship & that nothing could ever go wrong. I mean, we made our vows to each other & promised to devote every afternoon of the rest of our lives to one another. My buddy and I swore that we would never try to hurt the other guy & we would constantly be by their side for support. What we never mentioned during our long, costly wedding vows, were the conditions surrounding our central heating & cooling system. For some reason, the minister never brought up our need to compromise over tough Heating, Ventilation, & A/C decisions or contingent plans for air temperature disagreements. Now, we are unhappily married & forced to spend every afternoon battling over our temperature control. It turns out, my husband & I have vastly weird opinions when it comes to operating a central heating & cooling system. My buddy and I come from unquestionably weird backgrounds, & clearly we were raised with unquestionably weird values when it comes to establishing an indoor air quality control plan. My husband feel that it’s okay to fully utilize your central temperature control to match every temperature whim. Personally, I feel that central heating & cooling systems should be managed with care & consideration. Since he’s constantly trying to adjust to the central temperature control higher or lower, I have had to find ways to prevent him from sneaking around. Recently, I purchased a digital thermometer that records temperature changes over 12 hour periods. Since I cannot trust my husband, now I secretly record our indoor air temperature changes separate from his comprehension. No one told me marriage would be like this.
