My partner and I just had our first little baby.
He is the sweetest thing.
I cannot describe how much I care about that little guy. My partner and I used to keep our entryway pretty cold! Both of us cherish sleeping in a cold room with lots of heavy blankets. It is how we both slept as kids as well. I got it from my parents who regularly had an cooling system in their entryway, even during the wintertime. Their entryway was really around fifty degrees year round, then our entryway was not that cold, however it was really around sixty degrees. That was just too cold for a newborn baby in my opinion, so I asked my partner what we should do. Our room is absolutely that cold on its own. My buddy and I have all the vents open in there, and the rest of the household is around seventy-two degrees however not our entryway. He suggested buying a space heater, so that is what I did, however now, our entryway is up to around seventy-five degrees, and it is perfect for our little baby. He seems to sleep honestly well. My partner and I had to get used to it, however we are sleeping better now, but well, we are sleeping as well as you can with a newborn baby. I think we will end up having to move that boiler into the nursery with our little person once he is a bit older because his room is just as cold as our entryway is. I think it may be because of bad insulation on that side of the household plus that is where the wind hits the household most of the time.
