Cooling Our Studio Apartment

Our studio cabin is quite crammed, but there are some pros to residing in such a small location.

My best friend, Valerie, and I have been residing in a studio cabin together for almost three years now.

My friend and I found that it is cheaper for us to rent an cabin than to stay in the dorms on our university campus. One of the hardest things I like to do is find locations for all of our stuff. My friend and I have had to be creative in coming up with ways to keep our things in convenient locations but also hidden enough not to make our cabin look like a cluttered mess. There is at least one pro about residing in our small cabin though. My friend and I are able to save a lot of money on rent, but renting even a one bedroom cabin was almost twice the price of what my friend and I pay. Another important plus is how straight-forward it is to keep our cabin cool. My friend and I are in school down south, so almost year round, it is moderate outside. It only takes one small window unit to keep our entire cabin cool, and it cost so little. By the time Valerie and I split the electric bill, my friend and I end up paying unquestionably little individually. Our air conditioner unit is actually old, but it hasn’t had any trouble keeping the cabin cool. It has started to leak quite a bit, so I believe my friend and I are going to have to get a new one pretty soon. My friend and I only need a small one, so my friend and I figured it would easily be cheaper to just by a brand new one than try and get someone to come repair ours. In the end, residing in a studio cabin actually has its disadvantages, but keeping it cool is super straight-forward!
