It has been a entirely chilly winter this year plus my brother found himself in an excruciating spot, and each year, he tries to heat his house primarily with a wood stove. He lives on a big parcel of land with many trees. This affords him an almost endless supply of firewood plus the only expense is gas for the chainsaw plus splitter, along with his time in cutting it. This year, he underquoted the amount of wood he would need. My buddy and I have loved milder winters over the past four years so he had chop back on his wood supply, but now, he is faced with a excruciating situation. There is no way of telling how long this winter will last plus with temperatures still in the 20’s he honestly needs a quality heater. I am entirely surprised that he let things go as long as he did. If the system is too poor he will need to spend money for a complete updatement plus that can cost thousands of dollars. I am hopeful for him however figure that he will learn from this too.
