I know that on television shows it seems that “house flipping” is an easy process.
The reality is much different, and even with a crew of skilled professionals it takes longer than a couple of days to transform an old house into something beautiful. On my team I have a plumber, a carpenter, an electrician, and an HVAC technician. Then there is me, the team leader and roof repair expert. Before I started my own home renovation company I worked for a local roofing contractor for over ten years, learning everything I could about the process. Roof repair, installation, replacement, and service, I learned how to do everything I could, specifically so that one day I could start my own business. My team and I can handle every aspect of home renovation and repair, from the foundation to the roofing. Sometimes we will buy a house at auction, but only after we have fully assessed it for its condition. Although we are renovation experts, sometimes there is too much damage to make the project cost-effective. If there are roof repairs, that’s fine, but if the entire roof needs to be removed and replaced it may not be worth the investment of time and money.
