Loved the radiant heater

I have to say that the geothermal heat pump turned out to be everything my friend and I thought it would be plus maybe even more.

When my friend and I built this new house, my friend and I were thinking in the long term when it came to just about everything.

This is where my friend and I want to live now plus even after retirement. Lots of folks head for the a/c of the south when they retire. That’s not something that my husband plus I are all that interested in. We are from this region plus don’t plan on leaving it. Sure, my friend and I have more winter time than they do down south. But that also comes with a lot enjoying a beautiful Summer where the a/c is needed while in the peak heating hours of the day. By eveningfall, the temperatures generally come right down to where the a/c easily doesn’t kick on until the next day. Yet, it was the winter time weather that I was anxious about when it came to using a geothermal heat pump. A normal heat pump is not exactly efficient or good at heating a house up here when it easily gets cold. We’ve always had a gas heater. So after my friend and I moved in early last Fall, I was a bit troubled that the geo heat pump just wouldn’t be hot enough. Wow, have I ever been so blissful to be so mistaken. The radiant floor heating from the geothermal heat pump was incredible all winter time long. And it saved us a ton of money in heating costs as well. I’m looking forward to the a/c this Summer because I’m certain that the geo heat pump will make short work of that.
