There was a little neighborhood where the sunshine blazed hot and the air was so thick, you could cut it with a knife.
Everyone would try to escape the heat by rushing into buildings with a/c.
That’s where our hero, the heating and A/C tech, comes in. He was the go-to guy for all things related to cooling. One scorching day, our heating and A/C tech was on his way to maintain a broken air conditioner when he couldn’t help but think about pizza. It was one of his number one foods, and he couldn’t wait to get off work to grab a slice. As he walked, he noticed a few gargoyles perched on the edge of a building, leering down at him. They seemed to be laughing at his pizza cravings. But our tech wasn’t one to be deterred, and he kept on walking. When he arrived at the work site, he noticed something strange. The a/c unit was making unusual noises, almost like it was alive. Suddenly, the unit started to shake violently, and our tech knew he had to act fast. He took a deep breath, channeled his inner monster movie hero, and plunged into action. With his trusty tools, he tinkered and fiddled, and finally, the unit stopped shaking. As he was packing up his things, he realized the problem had been caused by a loose screw. Something so small, but it had caused such a sizable problem. Our hero learned a lesson that day, it’s the small things that can make a sizable difference. And as he walked home, he couldn’t help but smile, knowing that his hard work had helped to keep the people of his neighborhood cool and comfortable. And maybe, just maybe, he could treat himself to a slice of pizza too.
