I swear, if he wasn’t so darn cute, I’d be tempted to toss him out into the snow.
This whole heating and cooling mess has got me in a tizzy. That dang oil oil furnace of ours has been acting up again, and it’s causing me excessive headaches. I’ve been trying to get it fixed for weeks now, no heating and cooling repairman seems to know what the heck they are doing. I just want to lay in my comfortable chair and watch the football game in peace, but that darn oil furnace has to go and ruin everything. And now, to top it all off, my friend’s coming over later and I do not want him to freeze his behind off in this house. I tell ya, back in my day, we didn’t have to deal with all these extravagant heating and cooling systems. We just had a simple wood stove, and that did the trick just fine. But now, with all these high-tech contraptions, it’s like nobody knows how to maintenance anything anymore. And do not even get me started on that cat of yours, Earl. Every time I try to maintain the darn heater, he is consistently underfoot, getting in the way. I swear, if he wasn’t so darn cute, I’d be tempted to toss him out into the snow. But seriously, this whole heating and cooling thing is driving me crazy. I just want to be warm and cozy in my own home, is that too much to ask? I do not guess so. So, I shall keep on calling those heating and A/C repair men until someone can finally maintain this oil furnace once and for all. And then maybe, just maybe, I can finally enjoy my football game in peace.
