I have chased fun for 55 years now, and I will keep doing so till I can’t chase any longer. I have tried my hand at so many things, it almost feels like I have lived a few lives. At the age of 38 I decided to throw my life a curveball and leave the normal working world for a career in the performing arts. I am so happy that I walked on that comedy stage 18 years ago because it has enriched my life in so many ways I can’t begin to explain. I work as an HVAC pro overseas during the daytime doing thermostat repairs, and at night I play drums and sing in a band. We have made about 18 songs so far and by the end of this year we hope to make many more and be touring as a professional band. We have an air conditioned RV, along with a really good heating system, and the four of us are going to hit the road next year and tour the country doing shows all over the place. We are doing some more work first though so that we have a bunch of songs at our disposal when we perform. Hot water boiler repairs is something I was doing a lot of, but now I will trade in that HVAC work for more gigs on the road. But we won’t do this for another nine months, that is when we feel that we will have enough songs to do shows in clubs for some good pay. I hope this dream comes true!
