Home automation in two locations

Should a window split or a water pipe burst, it’s nice to know that my associate and I could allow a professional inside to complete repairs

When my fiance and I retired from our jobs, my associate and I were sad to get away from the sub zero temperatures, feet of snow and especially long winters of the northeast, but my associate and I purchased a home in the south and split our time between the two properties; This allows us to love the bedst of the weather in each location. My associate and I avoid the intense heat and humidity of southern summers. My associate and I spend around six months in each home, then when the residences are unoccupied, my associate and I worry about break-ins and detriment… Up north, there is the particularly real chance of a power failure, no heat and frozen pipes! In the the south, the high winds and extreme storms often bring down tree limbs. My associate and I have found that installing a home automation system into each property provides convenience, security and peace of mind. Whether or not my associate and I are in residence, my associate and I have access to the many systems through our smartphones, tablets or kindles, then surveillance cameras supply real-time footage of the part surrounding the home, and my associate and I receive alerts if anyone enters the perimeter. Motion activated lights turn on, and my associate and I can see who is sitting on our doorstep. My associate and I can even converse with the person. It’s helpful to be able to unlock the door for the friend who waters the plants or maintenance providers. Should a window split or a water pipe burst, it’s nice to know that my associate and I could allow a professional inside to complete repairs. The home automation system includes smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, moisture sensors and the smart thermostat. My associate and I are alerted to temperature changes, Heating, Ventilation, and A/C complications, flooding, glass breakage, unauthorized entrance to the home and more.
