Heating and Air Conditioning on the plane

Recently, I was talking to one of my co-workers about his trip out of town to yet another birthday; Somehow, he’s been in 10 birthday so far this year… It sounds absolutely bad to me.

  • I must be getting pretty ancient to him too, because she is starting to cope with all of the travel and stress in unhealthy ways, and he said that at this last birthday he got so stressed out and board he was hitting the bar way too hard! When it came time to get up and catch his like the next afternoon, he was completely hungover.

He even had to endure various hours at the airport and on a plane feeling absolutely terrible, with no control over his indoor environment. If you’ve been in an airport recently, you legitimately know that the ventilation is nothing to write home about. In fact, in some areas of the airport it feels as though there is no indoor ventilation whatsoever, then the air will be extremely hot, humid, and stagnant as you sit in line and suffer a slow and boring death. In other parts of the airport, you shall find that the air conditioning is on full blast. It feels like you are resting in an Arctic storm, rather than waiting for your jetliner to arrive. He said this was all extremely irritated, however the worst part of it was the indoor air temperature controls on the actual jetliner… Apparently, he managed to get on an jetliner with a broken ventilation system. Rather than having his own air conditioning vent to point at his face for hangover relief, he was stuck breathing the recycled air of his neighbors. And he had to take the middle seat.
