My husband and I just moved into a new home, and we absolutely love it.
It is in a really nice neighborhood, and the house itself is beautiful.
It is just about everything that I ever dreamed of in a home. The only thing that I would like to add someday is a fireplace to the living room. I have always wanted a wood burning fireplace because I love the smell, but after visiting our neighbor’s house, I think I changed my mind. I still would love to have a fireplace, but I think that I want an electric one instead of a wood burning one. We visited our neighbor’s for dinner last night, and we had a great time. They are very sweet people, and it was so nice of them to invite us over for dinner just a few weeks after we moved in. The first thing that I noticed when I walked into their house was the smell of a wood burning fireplace. It was amazing. I just can’t get over how much I love that smell. The second thing that I noticed was how hot it was in their house. If I had to guess, I would say that it was probably around eighty degrees or more in their house. I asked them if they liked having the house so warm, and they told me that they actually don’t prefer the house to be that warm, but it was really hard to regulate the temperature with the wood fireplace and their furnace. It made me think twice about getting a wood burning fireplace installed in our house. I am still debating on whether to get one or an electric one instead.
