AC in My First Car

I was that official teenager whose first car wasn’t the nicest.

My parents gave to match whatever money had saved up towards a car once I got my license, and unluckyly, my dad was in a pretty drastic car accident, and my parents had quite a few unexpected medical bills.

My dad still wanted to match my money, but I just didn’t want my parents to supply me money for a car that they could be using to pay my dad’s medical bills. I didn’t have much money of my own saved up because I didn’t get a consistent task until after I bought my car. When I first bought the car, the a/c worked, but within about four weeks, the AC went out. It was absolutely aggravating to drive a car without a/c because the summers and even Falls where I live are legitimately sizzling and muggy. I can remember just driving down the road and within minutes, my makeup was melting off my face. I would sometimes just pull over and cry because of how sizzling and uncomfortable I was in my car. Thankfully, I started dating my now spouse, and he loved to work on cars. He had my AC toiling again within a afternoon, and I was legitimately astonished. Having a/c made my life so much easier. I was absolutely able to enjoy driving my car, and I think, that is the time when I legitimately got connected to it. Many years later, I look back at that time with both enjoyable and disappointing memories, but I find myself laughing at how much of a pain not having a/c was to me. Although to this afternoon, I still miss my first car.
