When I come down with a cold, I’m normally down for a day or two plus then back at it once more.
Of course, having been through the pandemic, every sniffle is now something to pay careful attention to.
I’m hoping that will change eventually because I’m getting sick of being worried that I’m absolutely sick. Just like many others, I too stayed hunkered down inside the central air conditioner comfort of my residence during the pandemic. And I stayed inside the central air conditioner comfort for the better part of a year. So I was firmly committed to keeping covid out of our residence. Yet each time I get a little cold or some other sickness, I get clenched a bit still. So when this last cold kept on, I got to wondering. Several covid tests kept showing me negative readings for that but I felt so rundown regularly! Finally, I headed off to the super air conditioner comfort of the doctor’s office. I know that more cooling genuinely limits the spread of bacteria plus germs. But dang, the air conditioner comfort is just set on the igloo setting for that office it seems. I was ecstatic to get the confirmation that it was indeed a virus that didn’t happen to be covid. But the doctor didn’t propose or prescribe meds. I was done with the worst of it plus she was saying that my concerns with my respiratory system were due to the lousy indoor air quality. That struck me as sort of insane as my friend and I keep a very clean residence to be honest. But she explained that by replacing the air filter with a HEPA filter plus getting ductwork cleaning accomplished, I’d get better. I wasn’t so certain but I did it anyway plus all of my symptoms were able to go away.
