I get a lot of unusual plus peculiar repair calls plus sometimes it’s a genuinely unusual request, however only a couple of months ago, A lady called me to service the heater, then she made an appointment for 10:00 in the morning plus I was there bright plus early.
The lady told me she wanted me to service the furnace first.
I didn’t understand what she meant when she told me that she wanted me to service the furnace first. When I was done with the tune up, I wrote up an invoice plus went back to the house. The lady was resting in a nightgown plus was barely dressed. I turned around plus walked outside plus stood on the front porch. I told the lady that I was finished with the furnace service plus she made a lewd comment to me. I told the lady that I needed her to sign the paperwork for the service request. She told me to come plus get it, so I left. I have been in circumstances like this in the past, but my boss was perfectly gleeful with the option that I made plus he called the buyer to tell her that she would need to find a different HVAC service provider next time she needed help with the heater, but he didn’t even charge the lady for the furnace service, which got me thinking. If she tried that with a different contractor everytime, would it work? I do not know the answer, but I do know that the lady was actually out of line plus her behavior was bizarre.
